Plan to be here for about 45 minutes during your first visit. Add another 20 minutes if you need new x-rays. After you have filled out a short form about yourself, the doctor will see you. If you have an emergency problem, we will treat it before anything else is done.
If there’s no emergency, the doctor will examine your mouth while we record the details on a special chart. Then the doctor will be able to tell you what’s happening in your mouth and what should be done about it.
Sometimes, in case of multiple/ complex/ extensive dental problems, another appointment will be arranged for you. Between your first and second visits, the doctor will prepare a detailed plan for your treatment, using your x rays, models and the chart made at your first visit. At your second visit, the doctor will review the treatment plan with you. You will find out what can be done, how long it will take, and what it will cost.
Don’t hesitate to ask if there’s something you don’t understand. We welcome your questions. (And remember! We hold your comfort as top priority and all treatment plans will be carried out ONLY after you’ve given your informed Consent. )
